GOCKI LORDEN, (Cornish Language – Clown Stupid’) 12 mins, 58 secs, 2024, Bunny LaddAbout this experience
Gocki Lorden is a Cornish Language short film following the demise of Gocki the Clown. Once the favourite Clown to King Arthur, Gocki becomes disgraced. Spat out of Tintagel into the cold, north Cornwall winter, Gocki turns to sin eating to raise enough funds to get home.
The story was written by Bunny Ladd and aims to provide an abstracted narrative whereby the viewer has room to interpret and reflect personally. Bunny’s work is led by costume and utilises film as a contemporary medium for mythological imaging.
