Tell your truth: Come together to turn your experiences of womanhood into new myths.
A myth is a symbolic [...] narrative of unknown origin that relates actual events [...] These narratives present themselves as authoritative and factual, without needing justification, even when at odds with natural law.

Whether your experiences are light or dark, funny or serious, join us for a relaxed and friendly creative writing workshop where you will turn your stories into mythical poems that symbolise your truth.
Guided by writer and facilitator, Sophie Burton, you will take part in activities that will invite you to reflect and imagine as you produce your unique story relating to womanhood.
Important: Sophie’s workshops are suitable for beginners. You don’t need to have any experience of creative writing and spelling and grammar do not matter. You also do not need any knowledge of historical myths. Everything you need to take part will be provided: All you need is a willingness to have a go.
